Bodily, mental and emotional burdens affect work and concentration abilities, all body functions and moods. These can be positivly influenced by CranioSacral Therapy.
Sitting too much at work can cause neck pains or headaches, migraines, concentration and memory weaknesses, sleep disorders and states of exhaustion.
Tensions in the neck muscles can influence bloodflow to the head and also the nervous system.
Through this instinctively an inner inner ‘alarm system’ goes off: cardiac activity, blood pressure and breathing rate increase, alertness is heightened – everything that is needed for a fight-flight-reaction. If this doesn’t take place, then this state can only very slowly be relieved and the muscles stay tense.
Doing sports can relieve tension, but it also activates the same mechanisms of activity and tension. Because of this, it is important to passively accommidate the active phases – like work and sports. This lowers the heart and breathing rate and promotes relaxation, digestion and regeneration.
CranioSacral Work is a good balance to all these active phases.
