being flexible and healthy
Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.
Hippocrates
Often we don’t notice how important flexibility is, until we are not flexible enough to do what we wish to do.
The flexibilty of the connective tissue has particular importance, since it wraps around and connects everything. When these layers are tight, the structures they are enclosing can’t move sufficiently. Various medical conditions occur because there is less blood circulation in them and their function is therefore limited.
When the flexibility of the connective tissue is restored, the supply of nerve impulses and blood is corrected and the body can regenerate itself: self-healing takes place. Since the biggest part of the immune response takes place in the connective tissue, it is important to provide for good conditions in the connective tissue so that the body can properly deal with acute illnesses.
How can the flexibility of the connective tissue be restored and|or supported?
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle method that balances the all-surrounding tissue and encourages self-regulation.
